Yeah, this post has no real merit ;)

- The first trailer for P.S. I Love You, featuring Jeffery Dean Morgan and (if you pay really close attention you can spot him) James Marsters is up. It looks like it will be a pretty cute movie. I'm definitely going to have to go check it out.

- I had the most random fic idea to write a little drabble or something about Anya's reaction to watching Monty Python and The Holy Grail and the ferocious bunny scene. I haven't gotten around to trying to write it but I have that idea just stuck in my head for some reason.

I think it's a pretty boring story actually. I have three different e-mails: one for family and friends, one for fic and newsletters and one for random stuff, since the other two get tons of spam. I was trying to think of a name and, unsurprisingly, I was on a Buffy kick. One of my e-mails already had Angel's name, and Spike is my favorite character, so I used his name. I must have been channeling Harmony when I created the account, hence Spikey. The 18 is how old I was when I created the account all those years ago. When I signed up for lj, I just decided to keep things simple and use the same name. And there you have it, the thrilling tale of my username :)

A few have been left out because...well, apparently I'm a very loose fangirl. But honorable mentions definitely go to Angelus (because he's whiny when he has a soul), and two characters who are both old enough to probably be my grandfather: Jack O'Neill and (you'll cringe, I know it) Lionel Luthor. Jack is snarky and I love that. Lionel, at least back when he was unquestionably evil, was strangely attractive. I love that he was brilliant and ruthless, plus John Glover is all kinds of amazing.


On a separate note, I'm dying to write a Supernatural/Btvs crossover, but my plot bunnies are failing me :( I need a good challenge, but I checked TTH and all the do-able ones have already been done and I don't want to rehash something that someone has already done. I'm bummed.
