Because of the unnatural heat plaguing my hometown, most people have been stuck inside laying next to the air conditioner. Having said that, I got bored. And since, at the moment, I'm feeling a resurgence of Stargate SG-1 love, I give you icons. There are only twenty, but who cares? (And the Mckay one, while not of the best quality maybe, is somehow one of my favs).

So things are calming down in RL, and sadly that will only last for like two weeks and then everything gets crazy again, so I've been in the mood to do some more writing. My fics are in desperate need of updating, and like I mentioned to Kat, I haven't even touched a majority of my fics in months. It is not because I don't want to, I just can't seem to get anything written down. It is very annoying to find yourself sitting in front of your laptop, in the mood to get some actual work done, and nothing comes out.

The season premieres of Stargate SG-1 and SGA have reminded me of my love for those shows and as such I actually got some writing done of the next part of In Exile (my Buffy/SG-1 crossover which is posted at Twisting the Hellmouth), not much but more than I've managed for any of my other WIPs. I expect that to be the next one I update, but when is up in the air.

I'm dying to update Falling Backwards but my Spike muse is no where to be found at the moment, which is quite aggravating. But I figure that will be the second fic I will update, whenever my muse returns. She is a fickle, heartless one.

At this point, I just need to get back into writing. It has gotten to the point where I almost want someone to give me a prompt or a challenge (something short, a ficlet) just to get me back into the groove. 

If anyone has any ideas, prompts or suggestions I would be very grateful. I need to get out of this rut, like yesterday.


I think that about covers all the random thoughts in my head at the moment (this is what happens when I'm seriously bored). Let us all pray for the return of my muse, as she has been missing for far too long.
