And awhile back I promised icon drabbles and I know it has been forever but I've been dying to write something so I thought I'd give them another shot. This is the first. Hopefully it isn't too horrible.

The whisper of a kiss pressed against his bare shoulder brought a small, contented smile to his face as he turned onto his back and let his eyes fall on his mischievous companion. Her answering grin, wide and slightly humored, brought his dark gaze to those lips and her smile fell as she noticed his stare.
“Morning,” she murmured, dropping a quick kiss on his lips before settling beside him, propping herself up on her elbow and staring down at his relaxed form.
“Mmmm…I was never much of morning person,” Angel replied, voice rough with sleep. “It’s beginning to grow on me though,” he added and her smile returned in full force.
“Good,” Willow considered with an innocent look, her green eyes wide and far too awake for this hour in the day, “Because I’ve always been a morning person. Just ask Xander, it drives him crazy. Once I’m awake I can’t get back to sleep, which means I have to find…ways…to keep busy.”
A sly grin overtook his previously groggy expression and his hand left his side to tangle in her tantalizing blood red hair. “I think I have a couple of ideas,” he smirked, tugging her closer to him. “Just no more mentioning Xander, okay?” he murmured before pulling her into a deep, very distracting kiss. Still, he couldn’t manage to completely stifle the tiny giggle that escaped her at his last request.
The feel of Willow wrapped around him so snugly, legs tangled in his own and her warm breath against his cool skin filled him with contentment, but the feeling didn’t inspire his usual reactions of fear and wariness. Instead he let it wash over him, welcoming it, and reveling in the sensation.
“Angel…” her voice, breathy and impassioned teased him as he buried his face in her neck, inhaling the sweet scent of her as the sound of her thrumming heartbeat overcame him.
There was a noise, deeper, that distracted him momentarily but he refused to relinquish his hold on her.
“Angel,” the voice wasn’t Willow’s, it was sharper, almost annoyed. “Angel, hey—Peaches,” the familiar bark of Spike’s voice startled him and he sat up sharply in bed.
The blond, left with little else to do in his current ghostly state, looked down on Angel with a brow raised in amusement. “Nice dream?”
Feeling more than a little disoriented Angel glanced around, noticing the arrival of dawn outside the windows that protected him and the distinct lack of company in his bed. Blinking in confusion, he ran a shaky hand through his now bedraggled hair and then over his face. “What do you want Spike?” he grunted, hiking the sheet up higher around his torso and glaring at his grandchilde.
“What do I usually want?” he shrugged nonchalantly. “To drive you bonkers, mate.”
“Go away Spike,” Angel growled, laying back down roughly and flopping down on his stomach with a grunt.
“Well aren’t you just a ray of sunshine this morning,” Spike smirked, rocking back and forth on his heels.
“Get out,” he warned, not even bothering to look up as he fought to find a comfortable position, hitting his pillow a couple of times for good measure, “before I tell Fred to perform an exorcism on your ghostly ass.”
An annoyed snort was Spike’s only response before he gave up, realizing Angel wasn’t going to be fun to torment that morning. After a minute of quiet Angel tentatively looked up, barely holding in a sigh of relief when the aggravating blond was nowhere in sight.
Now if he could just get back to that dream.
