OMG! Spoilers ahead.

I taped both the Smallville and Supernatural season openers and was just totally wowed by them both.

Is it totally wrong that I loved that scene with Lionel and Chloe in his office of LuthorCorp? AM and Glover just rocked this ep, and I loved that scene because you can see that there's this respect between them. It's just so wrong it's right.

I actually didn't mind Lana, she was far more tolerable than usual. Lois was pointless, as always. Jor-El can't be gone. I want Jor-El back! And when Zod was sort of sucked out of Lex (for lack of a better word) and they made his essence or whatever look like Terence Stamp, too good. And Superman music, yay! That whole scene in the field between Zod and Clark was awesome, and they finally got him to say "Kneel before Zod." Don't ask me why I love that, I just do.

But by far my favorite moment was the Chloe/Jimmy/Clark scene near the end. Welling played it so well, awkward and nervous and totally jealous. That was seriously perfect. I literally *squeed* when that happened.

I loved that after watching an action packed Smallville, I got to watch an episode of Supernatural that for the most part focused strictly on the emotion. It was heartbreaking and absolutely beautiful. Jensen Ackles played it so well the whole episode, but when he's sitting with the reaper and they were talking about the fight and it being Dean's time, heck I knew Dean wasn't going to die and still was completely devastated.

"I Swayzed that mother." Dean is a genius.

Padalecki nearly broke my heart when he was watching the docs try to revive Dean. He was fabulous.

But I think in the end, the whole episode belonged to Jeffery Dean Morgan. He is an actor I knew nothing about until a year ago and now I wish more than anything that we'd be seeing more of Daddy Winchester. He killed me tonight. I was in tears by the end. The writer's had it so right, Papa sacrificing his life for one of his sons. Horribly sad and completely touching at the same time. I can't wait for the next episode.

Now I'm going to watch them again ;p

And how cool is it that Jeffery Dean Morgan and James Marsters are going to be in a movie together? I'm already planning to see it and it's still in pre-production.

I haven't heard too much about it. It's called "P.S., I Love You" and (other than the obvious) it's starring Hilary Swank, Gerard Butler an Lisa Kudrow.

The summary imdb.com gave was "A young widow discovers that her late husband has left her 10 messages intended to help ease her pain and start a new life."
